How Education has got Effected/Impacted due to CoronaVirus Pandemic

Image
Coronavirus has effected the whole growth of the nation. It has affected all sectors like oil and petrol, finance, hospitality, tourism, and education. There isn't any sector that might have not been affected during this crisis. In a matter of weeks, coronavirus has changed and affected how the students are been educated. As we are aware, schools and universities have been shut down and there is no notice when will it reopen. The pandemic has cost a huge loss onto the Educational Sector. And if the virus keeps on gradually rising then it will become very difficult for the schools and universities to reopen.  The government has been bringing effective measures for the student-teacher relationship to be intact. They are teaching them through video calling and this has become widely acceptable means of communication. People all over the world are using this tool effectively. Pandemic has affected more than 500 million students' careers globally. Here I mentioned the figure of the ...

Lockdown and it's impact on Domestic Violence

We have been in lockdown for more than 2 months and it may continue if the cases tend to escalate. People during this lockdown period have surged cases of the victims who are facing domestic violence. Domestic Violence impacts the pattern of our mind which involves psychology, finance, physical, sexual and emotional abuse. The term "Lockdown" itself personifies being trapped which doesn't indicate trapping your mind. People say home is termed as the safest place but this not for everyone.  Increased level of stress and anxiety because of job insecurity, financial worry, career destruction, and other emotional factor has corrupted the minds which have been hard on children. Children have the basic vulnerability to have faced this during the lockdown.  Just a few days back I was researching and came across a piece of news regarding a rape case where the father used to rape her daughter for years and she got pregnant and delivered an unstable child. A 25-year-old actress Pre...

Ways to Fight Depression, Anxiety and Loneliness

Image
Not many have the courage to talk about depression and anxiety. It's because people have a fear of being judged and cornered. This is the most occurred illness in females as compared to males. And this requires self-motivation and belief in yourself to conquer your inner self. People have to identify the illness   If you don't feel like consulting any doctor, Here are some ways you can try it at home to cure yourself. These are some ways which I have personally tried and recommend people to fight the illness: Play your favorite sport (badminton, football, basketball, swimming, etc)  Read before bed  Communicate and share your thoughts with people you trust If you want to wallow, wallow your heart out but don't do it constructively Write a journal, if you don't feel like sharing with anyone Set your goals. Track them and measure your results Reward yourself. Keep yourself happy Spend time with your loved ones. Appreciate and gratitude them  Spent time in Nature  ...

Mens and Mental Health

Image
Mental health as we are aware is a less touched and discussed topic in India, which I supposedly feel this topic should be prioritized and given more importance. Good mental health is as significant as oxygen for us to breathe and survive. Men and Women both face mental illness, but the ratio is higher in women as compared to men. People mostly talk about the issues faced to women but when it comes to men people don't like to actually word it out.   Men  with  mental  illnesses are also less likely to have received  mental health  treatment than women.  It doesn't mean they aren't suffering from it, It just defines they are not able to discover and analyze it In the male-dominated society, men are accustomed to being perfect without any defaults. Men face several complications, yet they hesitate to express just because cultural expectation has taught and made them fragile. In my previous workplace, I worked with university students and they ...

Father and Feminism

Image
In a patriarchal world, the father is known as the pain taker and a love giver to his family. This stereotype has been followed for many centuries and it will be followed because" Men are born to be strong". Indians have a very diverse culture and belief if compared with other countries. The new F- word  " Feminism" , which has a very huge impact on the growing world which has turned the mindset of Indian Fathers and that's a huge step towards supporting their daughters/women of their family. It's a huge responsibility as a father to respect young lady decisions which not every father does and has courage because of societal acceptance emerges. Desi fathers and daughter have a very unique, complicated relationship because they are been served by a patriarchal society which doesn't teach them how to respect women until a girl is been born and he holds her in his arms and that moment he ...

Why to binge watch F.R.I.E.N.D.S Series ?

Image
The most Iconic American Sitcom which was released in 1994, (even before I was born) is the most cherished show since then and till now.  I have binge-watched the seasons time and again and never felt a pint of boredom. There is something special about that show that keeps us all entertained and joyous. A 26-year-old series and yet the most-watched show worldwide. The show is more realistic and we relate to our mundane. Here is one excerpt from the episode were, Monica Geller ( Portrayed by Courteney Cox) said to Rachel Green (Portrayed by Jennifer Aniston): " Welcome to the real world! It sucks – you're going to love it." we couldn't have related less to this. From i ts title songs in the beginning and till the end we have a happy face in  all  the episodes.  W...

I, Me and Myself

Image
Hello I'm Tanisha Mohan Shet  It's a happy quarantined morning and the thought just crossed my mind to write something about me. Well, I thought to do that for my readers. I tried experimenting with a lot of skills during this lockdown to keep me busy like preparing a new dish and posting a video online but that's not what I enjoyed doing, sketching, writing, etc. So thought of writing and creating a blog as that's what kept me interested. I'm not a professional writer. I have just started to be in the flow and I'm just developing the skill and improvising the level for my readers. This quarantine actually made me start this blog which wasn't my thought but I'm loving it. I started with zero knowledge. This blog will be about what mankind wants. This page is going to be motivating and an inspiring kind of page for the readers and would be honored to serve people with it. I have a habit of being a perfectionist in whatever skill I make an...

Image
I recently completed reading this fascinating book "Ikigai: The Japanese Secret to a Long and Happy Life" by Hector Gracia and Francesc Miralles which wasn't in my reading list and I'm so joyed by the choice that I bought the book and it turned out to be so astonishing. This book has an illuminating preference in your life which teaches you how to live a happy and longer life. This book touches ancient Japanese well-practiced culture and technique which is an aspect of their long happy life which is termed- Ikigai. According to the Japanese, everyone has an Ikigai. An Ikigai is essential ‘a reason to get up in the morning’. A reason to enjoy life.                                       ...

Lady Love Forever

Mother's Day is celebrated with the most imperfect kids and insane partner in most of all the Indian Families across the Globe Well, it was Mother's Day yesterday(May 10, 2020) and everyone was joyous in spreading their love to their moms. There are no words left in the dictionary to put down how astonishing and valiant our mothers are.  Mothers are the one who is most annoyed with their children behavior and husbands absurdity but yet remains tranquil for peace and understanding to maintain the discipline of the family. I remember when my mother used to chase the whole house just to catch my brother because of his unacceptable behavior and then used to tell me to catch hold of him so he doesn't run, then enters my father who would run towards him and make an escape for his son to run away and hide somewhere. This exercise is certain in each and every Indian Home. But that's the pleasuring part and joyous moment to be captured I can surely say tha...
